What is included in the tuition?

Each student’s tuition covers the following items:

  • All course material and books
  • Classroom supplies
  • Access to all resources available through the Academy
  • Class field trips (transportation and admission to the venue)
  • Participation in all elective subjects, and supplies and equipment
  • Supplies for any class projects and activities
  • One logo-gear shirt, per year (needed for field trips)

Each student will be responsible for providing their own:

  • Snack each day (must be nut allergen free)
  • Personal supplies (pencils, paper, etc.)
  • Spending money for field trips
  • Specific clothing needed for activities (i.e. clothes to get wet in, paint in, get dirty, etc.)

Current Tuition Rates

K3 $125 / month ($1125 / year)
K4$175 / month ($1575 / year)
Kindergarten$285 / month ($2,565 / year)
Elementary & Middle School$75 / month ($675 / year)

Payment

Tuition may be paid monthly, per semester, or in full at the beginning of the school year. Parents will receive invoices to their email each month. Invoices contain a link to pay online however payment may also be made to the Academy via check or cash. Since CCA is a ministry of the church, checks should made out to Shepherd of the Hills Calvary Chapel.

*If a family is experiencing financial hardship and is unable to pay their tuition on time, please contact the admissions office prior to the due date. The Academy has financial resources to help those in need.

Tuition Discounts

The Academy offers a variety of discounts. All discounts are subject to limitations. See below if you qualify:

Serving at the elementary/middle school***3% per day served (15% max/month)

Discounts may be stacked, however no combination of discounts shall equal more than 20%. The only exception shall be the Church and/or Academy staff discount of 50%, however, in such cases, no further discount shall be available.

*Friends & Family discounts are given to those who consider Shepherd of the Hills Calvary Chapel their home church and, as such, the parent(s) and child(ren) attend at least twice per month. Children’s attendance is counted when the child is checked in for Sunday School.

**Additional student enrolled discount shall apply to any sibling enrolled in another Academy class, regardless of grade. This discount shall be applied to the lower tuition rate.

***Opportunities for serving discounts at the elementary/middle school shall be available depending on the needs of the Academy and must be approved prior to serving. Also note, serving discounts apply only after the parent has served their required day per month as described in the Elementary/Middle School Academics section.

***Discounts earned by those serving at the elementary/middle school shall be applied to the following month’s tuition. Discounts earned in the last month, or discounts earned after the full tuition has been paid prior to the beginning of the first day of school shall be credited the parent in the form of a refund check issued each month.

Refunds

Tuition refunds shall be available as described below:

Prior to the first day school100%

All refunds shall be given in the form of a check provided the parent within 30 days of withdrawal.

Financial Aid

It is our desire that ability to pay tuition not be the sole reason a student does not attend. In some cases, financial aid may be available for low-income families. Ask the admissions counselor to see whether you qualify.
